I have a 2006 Honda Civic. I can't open my truck using my remote entry or when I pull the latch in the car. I can hear a noise like it is engaging and trying to open, but nothing. It doesn't open or budge at all. From what I can see there is no way to access the trunk from the backseat. I took it to a Honda dealership and they said it would be a few hundred to just look at it-that's not including what is actually wrong with it. Does anyone know how to remove the seats in the back or access the trunk through the car so that I can get into the trunk and try and see why it is opening? Thanks for any ideas!

We are still working to obtain content for your car, however the video above is believed to have similar characteristics as your car.
This video shows you how to open the hood in your 2003 Honda Civic. Popping the hood on your Civic is a two step process, you need to release the hood latch inside your Civic and then you need to release the safety latch under your hood in the front of your Civic. The video above shows you the location of both hood latches. Sometimes, the hood on Hondas gets stuck and won't pop up after the interior latch is released. If this occurs on your Civic, simply pull up on the hood and it should pop up for you to release the second latch. Sometimes, especially on older Civics, you may have difficulty getting your hood to latch when you close it. In this case, the interior release lever on your 2003 Honda Civic is probably stuck in the 'open' position - push the release lever back and forth several times and then try to close your hood.
